First Waterfowl hunt for Son an Dad
« on: November 04, 2013, 08:55:08 AM »
Boy first trip out with his own gun. He got his first ever kill, he was using a 870 20 gauge.
After his first bird I asked him if he has the fever now he said " Fever I don't care if I am puking I am not leaving this blind".
I will take that as a yes. He was also quick to tell me his was bigger than mine.
Thanks to our guides Evan an Mitch for a making  great  memories.

Wait a minute, you can't shoot geese with a 20 gauge...   :chuckle:

Congratulations to your son.  That is a great response to the "fever" question.

Very cool.  My boy is very young but I look forward to the day we get to go out together for his first hunt.

Lokida - as you it is all about placement. He was using 3 inch it #2 shot. It just about knocked him over, he is only 75lbs

curtdiesel -  its great being out in the woods with my children he is number. I don't get out much with my older three, life craps gets in the way
