Rimrock muzzleloader bull with broadhead
« on: October 26, 2013, 05:55:42 PM »
I shot this bull on Oct 3rd in the Rimrock Unit and found it had a broadhead buried in its right shoulder blade.  It would be so cool to hear how/where it was shot with the arrow.  It didn't act wounded at all,  bugling and chasing cows like a normal bull in the rut.

looks like it was in the animal for some time. Was there a external open wound?

Yes, it was very clean.  It looked similar to my bullet's entry wound.

Anyone recognize what kind of broadhead that is?

Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me
