Very nice, open ground for blacktail, is that in Oregon or California? I have the same scope, nice to just turn the turrant and put the cross hairs on the animal. Nice job at that distance!
Congratulations on a great buck Scotty! I think you meant to say Cascade blacktail. Columbian are the "true" blacktails. Those look like oak leaves on the ground to me!

Oh I wasn't taking anything away from your buck buddy! I know you weren't trying to blow smoke. We both know what kind of deer are there. That one pic with the oaks and pines kind of gave it away though. I would have shot that buck any day of the week. I might have to make a trip there again next year, instead of trying to get this pesky work stuff done!

Actually the more I look at it, the more it looks like a Wilkeson buck.
