2013 Cascade blacktail
« on: October 27, 2013, 04:30:04 PM »
Got my buck 10/25/2013. Think this one is defiantly getting mounted and going on the wall. Shot at 580 yards and dumped him. Shot him with my brothers 7mm ultra mag topped off with a huskemaw 5-20x50 scope. My biggest buck yet

Very nice, open ground for blacktail, is that in Oregon or California? I have the same scope, nice to just turn the turrant and put the cross hairs on the animal. Nice job at that distance!

Its a Washington buck. And yea the turret option is amazing. My brother knows his setup and is confident with how well his rifle shoots. If I didn't already have a swarovski scope on my rifle I would definitely think about getting a huskemaw!!!

Oh I wasn't taking anything away from your buck buddy! I know you weren't trying to blow smoke. We both know what kind of deer are there. That one pic with the oaks and pines kind of gave it away though.  :chuckle: I would have shot that buck any day of the week. I might have to make a trip there again next year, instead of trying to get this pesky work stuff done!
