1st duck for my son
« on: October 27, 2013, 04:57:36 PM »
Tristan passed hu ter ed class in June, he is 10.
Not much to this one. Went to Shaw Island for deer huntin. Brought the scatter guns cuz we knew there were sometimes waterfowl.
We had to pass on honkers, mid season closure  :bash:
Decided to jump shoot the pond before deer huntin.
Approx 8 widgeon jump up and fly away from us, but then circle back straight over my son. He shot once and droppedthis beautiful drake.
Gonna send this off to get mounted.

Great looking widgeon.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Congrat's on your first duck Tristan!  And for it to be a nice Widgeon to boot makes it even better.  Looking forward to working with you to bring him back to life!  Again congrat's!  John
