Thanks Bone, here is a closer pic of the buck in that pic. I will save the better shots of him for later but how many think he is a shooter?

From the back I would have to pull the trigger! Ive never killed a big muley, In fact I have only killed one. I passed an a bunch and blew a stock on a heavy horned 170 buck once with my pistol.

I had a nice conversation with my friends over in SE Montana today. They have had a very cold last couple of weeks, single digits but only have about 4-5 inches of dry powdery snow. They said it has warmed up to the mid 30's the last few days. The deer and elk are in great shape and finding plenty of food. Lets hope it stays like this.

Good to hear b/c odds are good that I'll draw next year.  Just got my little postcard reminding me to apply and that I've got a point in the general draw.

Let's hope for bigger horns next year!

Finally got around to resizing some more Montana pics. In this pic he is sitting where the buck was, Mark was up through the tunnel over his right shoulder in the trees.

Just found another pic of that rock, with the boys standing inside it gives it more scale.
