What are you after?  This site has elk, deer, bear, moose, duck, phesant, grouse, coyote and cougar hunters trying to notch some tags this weekend. No sarcasim intended, just trying to figure out some helpful infomation. Also include what area or part of the state you would like to hunt.

No sarcasm in that reply, pretty much to the point I would guess. :chuckle:

Deer is not open this weekend
Hundreds of guys with permits would disagree!

Maybe they would, however the OP did not indicate he has a permit, and it could probably be assumed that he does not since it is his "frist" year hunting.  So, for him, deer is likely not open this weekend.

So to the OP, check the regs and plan for late rifle if that is what your tag is for.  It is usually best to try to get this kind of detail figured out before the last 4 days of the season.   ;)  And, good luck.

Oh man, get up early tomorrow and Thursday and hit it hard both days, you will tag out.  You are surrounded by some of the best blacktail hunting around. Everything east of the highway and North and South is great. Bear too.  Look for tracks and follow their patterns (food, water, esp. does).  Right now is 'prime time', the rut is on.  Go get 'em brother.   The last three days of regular season modern is the best in my opinion.  Late season can be great too, but these next two days are the best.
