Most of the CSIs should be able to figure it out by the flora and fauna, but the rest of ya are just out of luck..... :chuckle:

:chuckle:  Great year behind the camera as always!  Been waiting for a good half hour where I could go through every pic.

It was also good to see some interaction between species.

No... We don't need any cross breading! Racial segragation is just fine with me. ;)

I really wanted to get over there in November. A faulted component in my truck killed my play budget though.  One of these times I'd like to 'tag' along in some of your late season haunts Doug.  Funny how I recall one of your posts when you were watching a big boy and didn't dare get any closer else you might push him to his death; to late season tag holders in the area. Wise and unselfish. That earns respect from a lot of us. -We all know you wanted a good shot of that buck but you let it go.  I have enjoyed your photos since you started posting them. This thread has been nothing less than repetition of your great hunting and photography talents. Nice job!

THanks Steve, that's very nice of you to say.

I'll let you know about that species interaction in a bit....

I guessed this guy to be about 35 inches.  He is February this year in my calendar with a frontal shot.

This thread was really a treat to look at. Yes there are some true giants. Yes there are some unique racks. Yes it's unreal impressive to see that many bucks in one month. What really caught me, after I looked at the antlers of course, was the different faces on these deer. Last year, while winter steelhead fishing, my buddy really turned me on to looking at and photographing the fish faces. They are all so unique and personal.

And in hunting deer, we rarely get to study and take close looks at their faces. This thread allowed a guy to really look at how unique bucks are, not just in antler configuration, but in every aspect.

Great work and thanks a ton for sharing. My favorite thread this fall by far.
