Sure is a pretty picture
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Youd laugh at me.   I saw a small buck and crept up and got a couple photos.  There was a doe down below me.  He kept looking that way. Then all of a sudden at about 30 feet I see a big body though a tree.   Light was still pitiful.  All of a sudden this guy raises his head and does the whole sniffing urine thing.  I try to focus on him but between the poor light, him moving, and the tree, and his closeness, I cant get him.   I actually backed up a bit, switched to manual and started snapping pics.  I really want to use one in the calendar, but not sure they are sharp enough.   He then runs off the smaller buck and goes and sniffs a doe I didn't know was there.   I'm snapping like crazy.   I change my camera so I can stop movement as he is perpetual motion.   The doe wont stop.  She takes off over the little ridge we were on.   I swing around underneath hoping to cut them off.   I see them heading in the other direction.  I go back and she disappears going the other direction.   I decide to just stand there a minute.  The other doe is still below.  Sure enough here she comes heading right for me.  I am still having trouble with the light and movement.  They walk by me and disappear down the hill.   He was gorgeous and about all I could do was sit there and cuss the light.

Sorry Lndshark, my calendar is Muley only.  If I do a cross species one, I will consider him.

I have another tupee buck you will like.   He about ran me over in a session.   A hairpiece and antlers along the same color range.

Do you ever do any canvas prints?
Or would you sell me a license to have a print made?  :)

He was 33-35.   He has great front sweepers.   He turned and looked at me, and I about choked.   I could go 35 with him.

I would like to do the math on this guy.  First thoughts when I saw him were 35.   That's a pretty big number.   We'll see.   He is probably going into the calendar so the best pics are being held, but here is a frontal for you in the dark.
am I out of the ballpark on this one?  33-35
