For some reason I never looked into this thread till now. Why oh why :bash:. It was a real treat :). I am planning on buying the muly calander for my pops. Quite a few of those bucks made me shiver. Hey bone do you get a giant deer every year?

Thank you guys.  I'm glad you are enjoying the thread.   I get an average one I suppose raydog.Thank you for picking up a calendar.     I go after a big one everyyear and try to take a mature buck.  I try to cover eastern Washington 180, though I don't spend much time in the blues these days.

Doug, I finally took the time to get through this thread.... Bravo bud... that was fricken awesome...

I would LOVE to see more poics of the big guy.... wow... what a pig. His forks are deeper than most any buck ive seen.... at least it seems... wow! What do you think his typ frame is?? 185?

I figured his typical frame is close to 185-190.   Beyond buck of a lifetime.   Like I said I don't get worked up over too many deer, but he made my heart pitter-patter.

Probably closer to the 140 range, but still enough to make you pucker when he looks up at you.  Good way to get your heart beating.   I got a frontal of him in the whitetail calendar(July).   I went back to see if I could find him the day after this encounter and "shot him up."
