There is a forkie in the unit I hunt just like this…without the eye guards though…I bet he is 5-7 years old.  I see him almost every year.  He knows he is safe.  He has a sway back, and is getting a gray muzzle.  Just a huge buck, but only a two point, and a bruiser.  Slick as snot in between though, not even any trash that can be considered an inch long…I have been 20 yards from him, standing broadside, and he kind of laughs at me.  I would love to have him, but I digress...

You know what kind of force it takes to break healthy antler?  Wow!

I guess about the kind that can be produced by a couple of 200 lb animals with necks the size of a sea lion goin' at it... :o
