Campmeant:

Does Mt Anne have whitetail?  That is a pretty good public area.

Buddy Hunted both Mt Anne and Fir but the bucks were moving at night and holing up during the day.

Yes, referring to the mountain with Waconda in its shadow.  I like that area.  I can not believe it takes until Thanksgiving for rut, however.  Seems late to me but I am more of a muley guy in 101.

Hunted this area for many years. There aren't hardly any animals up there no more. Lots of local poachers and very few gamies.

You have proof of, " Lots of local poachers " ? That's an assnine statement.

I dont mean to be rude BUT, my comments come from speaking to locals directly, that happily admit they take multiple deer out of season AND from speaking to gamies in the area. While I dont mean to assume that ALL locals do this, there are many. So calm down
Its the goin'.....Not the gettin'

We have SNOW over here and it looks like Christmas. For all you late season hunters, be prepared to use chains. It's miserable right now with the we, sloppy snow. I got stuck in my yard with studs all the way around.
