logger....Welcome to Wa idiot hunters. Crap just finished cutting up a spike for a guy and his kid. They had absolutely no idea what to do after killing it. They actually waved me over and asked me to help. F*&^k they had not even tagged it almost an hour after shooting it. God can only help us. We need hunters, but damn do we really need the new ones.

Nobody is born knowing everything, and yes we do need new hunters, and yes we should be willing to help educate the ones that are not fortunate enough to have been taught a lifetime worth of skills and knowledge. Take pride in the fact you shared with a less knowing hunter and probably impressed them. Every hunter starts somewhere and you just gave a couple of the a good start. They will probably remember you for a long time.
It would surprise us all to find out how many people don't know what to do once they shoot a critter.

I see a ton every year and it doesn't surprise me much anymore. Society has gotten so far away from it's history that I think some sort of training should be mandatory. Right after Hunters Ed they should have to take a "Field Care" course or something similar.

taking care of the game should be part of the hunter safety program.
