.300 WSM options

I'm looking for a new .300 WSM. I'm sold on the caliber so no arguing for different please. I own a Win M70, wondering - beyond the Tikka, does anyone have any suggestions, opinions, etc? I've got the green light on a new shooter and feel like a little school girl.

I prefer to keep weight down - so composite is really my only option.

Sako A7 or Finnlight. 

Until Kimber gets rid of that barrel taper I'm in the Sako camp.  If Kimber would offer a similar barrel taper to the Tecomate I'd become an exclusive Kimber shooter as I am not the biggest fan of Sako fiber stocks.  Or anybody elses ugly factory fiber stock for that matter.  Sako almost got it right with the Tecomate, but B&C's stocks are all over the place on fit tolerances' and their finish rubs off way too easy.

I'm looking forward to trying one of the Nosler M48 rifles one of these days.  Never even held one in my hands.  Buddy of mine just bought a 280AI Trophy Grade.  Will get a chance to shoot that soon.  Sounds awful darn close to that Kimber I've always hoped they would build.  Even if they are using a B&C stock.

To me they are as good looking as a working rifles gets though I'm sure lots of people would disagree. I've only had limited time with one but I kick myself for not picking one up when I could have gotten it for a song.

There's so many options out there for lightweight rifles it makes it hard to just throw out a few, though being locked into a 300 WSM does narrow it down.

I should say I own both and if you can find a A7 in 300wsm "because they were discounted in the wsm cals" I would snatch it up. They run about 400 cheaper then the finnlight. Thumbs up on both of those 2 from me

I like the Tikka and the X-bolt.  I shoot better with the tikka , but the X-bolt feels nicer

cooper aswell , I have a tika and it shoots lights out , my buddy has the sako a7 and it feels and looks nicer shoots aswell.

Does Cooper make a synthetic stock?  That would probably be sweet if they do.

They do, the model 52, but it doesn't come in 300 WSM.
