Never even held one in my hands. Buddy of mine just bought a 280AI Trophy Grade. Will get a chance to shoot that soon. Sounds awful darn close to that Kimber I've always hoped they would build. Even if they are using a B&C stock.
Sako A7 or Finnlight. Until Kimber gets rid of that barrel taper I'm in the Sako camp. If Kimber would offer a similar barrel taper to the Tecomate I'd become an exclusive Kimber shooter as I am not the biggest fan of Sako fiber stocks. Or anybody elses ugly factory fiber stock for that matter. Sako almost got it right with the Tecomate, but B&C's stocks are all over the place on fit tolerances' and their finish rubs off way too easy.
I shoot better with the tikka , but the X-bolt feels nicer
Does Cooper make a synthetic stock? That would probably be sweet if they do.
