My 9 year olds first deer!
« on: October 31, 2013, 06:20:19 AM »
This is my sons first year hunting and he just turned 9 on Saturday.  We were able to convince momma to let him skip school on Monday for one last hunt.  He took this deer with his 7mm-08 and when the deer fell, he yelled "dad, dad I just shot my first deer!"  Then grabbed me and hugged me with tears of joy in his eyes.  It was a pretty special moment for both of us!  Definitley a day neither of us will ever forget.  I have decided to get it mounted for him and it's now at Natures Way Taxidermy!

That's a heck of a first buck!  Congratulations to you bot.  I just took my buck in to Nature's Way last weekend.  I'm sure you'll both be very happy!

Congratulations to the young man!  He's ruined for life now.
