Super Big Bear
« on: October 31, 2013, 09:35:29 PM »
I was heading back to my truck and moving along as it was getting dark, and my flashlight was sitting in the door of the truck.....ya I know right.   Anyways I am looking at this big burnt stump, and thinking man that thing is black.  Its sure square shaped, but kept hustling along as I got closer.  I tell myself "if its a bear it would have moved".  Finally I cant take it any longer I look through my camera.  HOLY CRAP. Its a super bear.    There isn't nearly enough light for pics, but I fired off a couple.  It was standing between me and my truck so I went around him.  He never moved.   FINALLY he takes a couple steps and I get a sideways shot of him as well.  What a toad bear.  Biggest one I have seen for awhile.   Stupid thing is, I wasn't sure bear season was even open still or not.

Biggest bear I have seen in years.  Probably the closest thing to a Booner Bear I have seen for 20 years.  He was so big, I didn't think it was a bear eventhough it looked out of place.
