Rubbing posts 2013
« on: November 02, 2013, 07:19:58 AM »
They began hitting the posts in the last week.  This buck rubs the post, then starts to walk away and stops to leave scent by whizzin on his tarsal glands.

The muleys went into destruction mode Wednesday and Thursday (Halloween) and really started trailing Thursday.  I couldn't believe all of the fresh rubs I was finding.  I've got two that I am really interested in.   THey are in areas that usually produce a big buck.  A couple of these rubs were epic.   Nothing gets your blood boiling like a fresh rub.  I wish I could figure out how to capture them on film with the same excitement.  Cool clips.

Those videos are way cool. Makes me wish I set mine onto video mode last time I set one out.

Thanks for sharing.

Always love seeing the rubbing post pictures each year. Keep it up :IBCOOL: I went over yesterday and had a little down time to scout around. The benchlegs are going nuts. Chasing across open fields almost every do had a buck or 2 by her. Was watching one dandy 3 point when a masher 3 came out to whoop his butt and he took off like a scalded dog :chuckle:
