6x6 down at rimrock! :-)
« on: November 03, 2008, 08:26:18 AM »
ok......So its "not" one that we got,  :bash:  but i thought i would post this great monster.
Really a nice bull.  This guy was getting packed out when we came around the corner. The old guy that got him was so happy and i was happy for him......I was so stoked to even get to hear the story about this ol, boy.
I will be posting "our" story and pics soon.

Good bull for the area

Well we talked to him for a few min and he told us that he shot it behind lost lake about 3 miles up.
In the middle of the day like 10 or 11 or something.
took 4 shots to bring this beast down i guess.
he was prolly 50 years old and he looked a little beat up from hiking.
so it was nice to know that he didnt shoot it from the road.
i just wished it was mine to bring down.
nice old guy and he was all grins.

he has his right 3rd point chipped off but not really broke.
other than that hes got great mass and really symetrical 6x6.

I'd say 230 at best.  Pics are hard to tell.  I let several that size walk this year.  His freezer probably looks better than mine does though. LOL Good for him.
