Where to have a new rod blank wrapped?

Looking to have a rainshadow blank done up for a new bobber rod, so I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on who to have wrap it for me. Closer to Olympia the better, but I am willing to travel a little for good work. Thanks.

I've had Greg at Greg's Custom Rods in Lake Stevens wrap four Rainshadow blanks for me in the last year or so.  May be too far for you, but he does nice work.  I sure like the Rainshadow blanks.

Why not build it yourself?  It really isn't that hard, and I really enjoy it.  You can build most of what you need for a few bucks.

I think building for yourself is a good idea if you're looking for another hobby.  I thought seriously about doing just that and Greg even offers a rod building class.  For me though, I only wanted a few more rods and figured I'd just have them made and be done with it. 

My favorite Rainshadow is the 1142.  Mine is wrapped as a spinner and is a whole lot of fun fishing silvers in the river..

Another vote for Greg but I'm a little biased since he's in my back yard. And if you want something extra fancy his wife Marci is a real talent. Great people too.

What is your time frame?

No real rush. It is going to be primarily a salmon bobbr rod and I have other rods I can use for the remainder of this season.

I've had George replace a rod tip that I busted off one of my Loomis rods. I didn't know he did full wrap jobs. May have to give him a call.
