Ive eaten a bunch of salmon so far this year, but this one was my fave on the grill to date. Not nearly as bright orange/red as most of the coho I caught, but definitely a more buttery texture and subtler flavor. Going to have to spend some more time chasing these guys this winter.
It was an area 8-2 fish.

Went out again last weekend. Sat we blanked, sunday went 1 for 4 on possession. The keeper was smallish, but the unmarked fish we released was pretty nice.

Definitely a different day, that's for sure. There was a bit of a chop on Sunday from the NWW wind, and probably 1/2 the boats, but way more nets out.
