I am hoping I never have to try it. I had Deer permit stew last year and it tasted awful !

backwoods getting an animal is just the icing on the cake..spending a couple weeks with your boys is what it's all about!  :brew:

with bluebird weather conditions (65 daytime temps, low 30's nighttime) and no snow in the forecast, I was worried about such a "bull elk soup" recipe for my Bethel A bull tag.

but my luck held on from previous years spike harvests and my luck managed a 3x3.

nice good looking broth for the elk tag soup though..
