Great looking buck, congrats. Love the matching extra point. Definitely a shooter on a late hunt.

FWIW, I wouldn't change anything on them :dunno:

Work??? Isn't it hunting season. :chuckle: The boys still have three tags to fill. Two desert unit does and a Margarent unit cow. Might need to sue your freezer to Ken. See you at work in the morning. I'm going online now and see if I can figure out out what this thing measure out at. not that I care but I'm sure i'll be asked. Later
PS: It loks like this guy had been shot in the neck some time in his past. The taxidermist said that there would be a bald spot just under his chin that wouold show pretty bad so I guess I'm going to buy a new cape.  :dunno:

Seems a little low to me, I was thinking more in the mid to upper 160's but still a great buck.

From what I've seen this year, I think that was a good buck to take. Congrats

wannahunt, I think you are right on, mine scored 144 gross, looks like you have more. That's outstanding on the draws for you and your family, enjoy the desert unit!!

You know that the buck I had planned to go after Monday morning looked like twin of the one you got last year. Same shape and size. Nice buck. Didi notice that the overall deer numbers seemed to be down. Seemed like not that many younger bucks around. I wonder if there will be a few sloweer years coming up for the Quilemene unit. Hope not because it's a fun place to hunt.

Wannahunt, I scouted the area hard for years with bird and elk hunting as well as after state notification of the draw. I agree the unit is down right now. The WDFW has responded by dropping the numbers of tags allocated to the unit. In scouting last year I could not believe how few bucks I saw. At least it worked out for you this year. I know you will have the fever for many months to come. That's a good feeling. Again super cool buck and congrats.
