Christmas present fishing trip
« on: November 06, 2013, 09:26:06 PM »
So my wife and I are absolutely horrible about waiting for Christmas, birthdays, etc. Last year we gave out our presents, son included at least a month early. The whole excitement of giving what others want and getting what you want is just too much. This compounded with children and I  only see the problem getting worse. Except it not a problem and we love it!

Anyways I'm thinking about asking for a chartered fishing trip this year. Halibut, Cod or Tuna. Does anyone know of a reasonable charter. We don't spend a whole lot. $150-200.  Maybe a little more if need be.  Are there any charters that get good results within a driving distance of Spokane?

Thanks for the input!!

The Slammer out of Westport do salmon, or ling cod with bottom fishing you wont be disappointed the skipper knows his stuff.  Tuna would not be doable at that price though it is a better trip in my opinion, but it will cost triple what you want to spend for a decent trip.  If you do go tuna I have had great luck with the Mister Magoo also out of Westport the skipper can be abit of a hardass, but he will put you on fish.

Thanks for the input! I figured that about tuna but thought I'd toss a line out and see.
