Where to buy Ammo?
« on: November 06, 2013, 10:41:49 AM »
Wondering where everyone is buying their Duck/Goose ammo (Kents/Remmington/etc)??? I live in Seattle and was looking for a place in the area that isn't ridiculously priced... Headed up North today so gonna stop by Walmart in Everett.

Maybe won't help you if you need it today, but I buy all of my ammo through rogers sporting goods online. They have great prices and usually have what you want if you buy early enough in the season. Free shipping to your door. If I buy on monday, it is usually delivered to me by thursday.

Wow that's way cheaper than I've seen for Kents locally! Much appreciate the link!

i wonder how often rogers gets restocked, their inventory has shrunk since this time last year and everything that's gone "out of stock" has never come back.  i did pick up a case of 2 3/4 nitro mags for 100 bucks from them this summer, they go for $20+ a box locally.  can't beat that especially with free shipping.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I have purchased several cases from Rodgers as well.  No sales tax and free shipping on the specified cases.
Other locations are Wal Mart, BiMart, Cabelas, Sportmans Warehouse, Fishermans, yeager, Dicks, White Elephant, Black Sheep.  Lots of spots.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Thanks for the help fellas! Stopped by a few places today to see what they had on the shelf. Walmart had the most selection so I picked up 2 boxes of 3" Remmingtons. Think I'm going to throw in with my buddies and bulk order from Rogers.

That's a good question.  I have been purchasing from Rogers for years, and they always sell out during the season.  What I've been doing is checking in the spring/summer and then purchasing 3-4 cases of what I want then, so I have no worries.

I pre order all my ammo from a local shop. When you order huge amounts you get a nice price break.
