So now I'm trying to get components to reload for it. Currently have Ramshot Hunter and Magnum on hand as well as Hodgdon Varget. Just found some Barnes TTSX in 140 gr and some Barnes TSX in 168 gr.Quad...do you shoot a 7x57...any recommendations? Here's the hideous 7x57 that has led to all this nonsense .......... http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,136734.0.html

I have a 1-10 twist on mine and it does not like bullet more than 160gr. Are you sure about the 168gr TSX? My Barnes book #4 does not show the 168gr
Been shooting a 7x57 since 1976 when I bought my first ruger in that cal. IMR 4350 and 4831 work best for me with IMR 4064 for the lighter bullets under 100gr. Been using the Barnes TS 120gr and they work great Killed a bear and a bunch of deer with them. I have an old Bob Hagle book and he loads the 7x57 to the hilt. I use his loads with no problems in a morden gun.
