Bead Lake/What Gives USDA
« on: November 05, 2013, 06:35:44 PM »
So I just found out about Burbot and after an unsuccessful hunting season I was excited to get out on the water and try my luck. After repairing the lights on my boat,  buying bait, and driving an 1.5 hours I arrived at the lake. Upon arrival my hopes were quickly dashed seeing that the gate to the boat launch was locked. Needless to say I had a pleasant ride home  :bash:

Anyone know what is up? I know the lake is open year round, so I'm not sure why the gate was locked.

I know they were putting in a public launch a few years ago I have heard it is a steep ramp and if there was any snow just might be impossible to get out of. We used to get on the lake were the semi resort was now I think thats a private access. Wait until you get hard water and then go.

Try two rivers marina jigging under the net pens from the dock.  Night time is good fishing

Bead lake has a host that watches the launch it gets closed down each year after they pull out.
