congrats,   I don't know about older buck though,  I say looking at his snout he is a younger buck.

I agree. I thought I saw milk on his lips but it could just be the angle  :chuckle:

He's a beautiful buck. Congratulations.

and u wonder why the deer numbers are down...? because this happens a hell of a lot more than just the pics we see posted on here. discusting in my opinion!!!  :bash: its a damn fawn for crap sake!!!

Also, due to depredation, disease, and other survival factors, harvesting the younger animals have the lowest impact on overall population.

I just strongly believe that blacktails should be two pt or better state wide. ive seen my hunting area, white river, go from a really good unit too really poor. the amount of deer that we used to see in a day, now is how many a guy sees in a whole season.

I began my hunting career in the late 70's in White River, was awesome back then, it was not "hunters" who destroyed the unit...

Hey guys, a reminder that when people post pics and stories about their legal kills, we either support and acknowlege them or shut up. You're free to start a civil discussion in your own thread about what you think things should be, but not in someone else's.

I was just giving him a bad time. I would be happy with that buck because he has a full freezer and as of now, I do not!

First off, good job filling your tag. Secondly, I wonder what the teeth looked like? You never know, that deer may have had some age on him, nature does some bizarre things sometimes.  :dunno:

Good on you Whisky. I would vote for a two point minimum myself. However, I would vote for youths to be able to take "any legal buck". I hope it goes to two point before its too late.

nicely stated Andy   I would think being a young guy people would lighten the **** up and just congratulate him for a LEGAL ETHICAL kill
