He must be crazy. Passing a deer that scores 190. Glad he's not my hunting partner cause I like to eat. oh wait a minute that means I can shoot. maybe I need more hunting partners like him for future trips.

He is no monster but the best of the herd. We saw about 8 bucks before this one. He was with another 4x4 and when I saw the eye guards I gave him a taste of Hornady SST 180gr. He didn't like it. I could have waited for something bigger maybe but I am happy, easy drag in light snow, downhill 400 yards to the truck.I feel that my little brother Fishseeker was there with me this morning and that makes it the perfect hunt.
Congratulations Scott, we all know John had that one hand picked for you.
We got home, have it hanging at my friends for the night. I need to get it to a meat cutter early tomorrow due to the warmer weather coming. I hope I find one open that can take it. We would do it ourselves but time is not on our side. I also want to get a head mount. I kinda messed the hide up for a shoulder mount so I will have to settle for just in front the shoulder.Anyone know a meat cutter open tomorrow??
