Nice buck man! Were they showing much sign of rut? Like you said they must have been fighting because otherwise there shouldn't be any reason for bucks to be near one another.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I think they have started rutting maybe not full on yet but I bet within the next week they will be. The other buck that was with this guy had his head to the ground following a does scent and didn't act like he cared I was even there. And then when I went looking for my buck I came across 2 scrapes that were freshly made.
