Finally!

Slow morning with the mild weather, but finally got some birds to work the decoys.  Only came away with a gadwall but it was just awesome watching birds cup and and do their thing.

Side note:  Stood up to take em' and I downed my bird while I wondered why my hunting buddy wasn't shooting at the second bird…."I went to squeeze the trigger and the dang safety was still on." 

Just another blind story that makes duck hunting fun.

Hey Kiltit, you sure that's a Gadwall, it looks like a hen Pintail to me. Did it have a bluish-gray bill & a green speculm.

Glad to hear someone is see something been awhile since I got to feel the thump to the shoulder
