Very cool, I haven't seen any in the wild I believe they aren't huntable in this state though I could be wrong.

They cage pretty easy from what I've read on it.  Watched some youtube on it as well, they go right in.

Good looking one. I've gotten 5 of this state. Missed a couple others, and called one in for my brother and one for a buddy. They're around more than people think.

They are much more Wiley than a coyote.  :chuckle:

I have seen them in the blues, and in the north cascades.

Cascade Red Fox are considered a seperate subspecies in some circles. WDFW used to have them listed seperately then they went to one species. Read some stuff on trying to get them listed as seperate again. Pretty cool color on them.

Awesome pic! I am currently using the trap I bought from you and something keeps yanking my bait! I used the 'burry the bait' trick you mentioned...i've even had the bait stolen and trap tripped without catching it (I am not knocking this trap at all, by the way, Ilove it and would buy another in a heart beat). I am setting up a trail camera tonight to see if its a coyote or what (which is what i believe it is).

Can you tell me what bait your dad was using and specifically, was it wired to the back, burried, etc? Just curious!

Thanks for posting again.
