Late season weather/rut reports?

Gonna be over in newport this friday-sunday....

Weather report is saying rain/snow.... What do u local guys say?

Hows the rut looking thus far?

4,000 FT and above, pretty mild otherwise

Ok thanks. Heading out tommorow because i got all my school work done early at central... That give me 3 full days to get another one like last year. Goin with 2 other guys, it would be awesome to bring home 3 bucks.

I prefer an HS True Talker and a rattle bag.  They should be responsive this weekend.  I've heard whitetail going at it as early as the first weekend of November.  Boy do they make alot of noise.

I dont like the call, its okay for the super quiet days, not enough volume and it screws up when it gets reall cold.My fav is the MAD, can be very loud and can change the tone so easy and has the snort wheeze
