Bummed

Broke my foot last night and I am facing a possible surgery.  Missed all of last years waterfowling due to a 8 month deployment, and now this   I will still be able to hunt out of a boat but cant lift my boat it in and out of my truck now with the foot, and my favorite spots to hunt are a hike in so that's gone as well.  Sorry to rant, but I am really bummed about my foot.

Seriously that sucks,  Hopefully you have a cool story about repelling down a shear cliff face into a lake of fire,  or being thrown from a horse while chasing down a bank robber.  That would be way cooler than of something Boring like kicking a piece of furniture.

Yeah I wish there was  a cool action story, but the truth is, it happened playing hide and seek with my 3  year old and I ran ino the corner of my book case.  My son learned 4 new cuss words

I might be able to strap your crippled butt to my Game cart and drag you out into the field.   Only problem is your pretty much going to be worthless as a retriever now.  All well........ Is was nice while it lasted.

Rats!! That is to bad Seth...with a little creativity, you will get some hunting in. I am thinking a field may be a good option to keep a foot cast dry?

Sandbagger!     Pulling the old broken foot routine this early in the season already.  You just got started.      A hard core duck hunter would have just busted out the duck tape and called it good.  

Just given you a hard time in regards to your bad timing.  I hope you threw the book case out the front door and taught it a lesson.

I'm wearing this bad boy until I see the surgeon.  Left the sock on due to some missing toenails and a piece of bone.  Thanks for all the encoring comments and PM's.
