Really do your research and talk to lot's of references. Texas is getting a bit shady. I have been trying to go for a couple years and keep finding stuff I don't like. I know predator master has some good info. One recent one on there about a big name outfitter down there was not very good. Let me know if you find one you are looking at and I will let you know if I know about them. Sadly I don't have any good ones, but lot's of stay away form's on my list.

Take a good look at wildlifesystems.com. I was a guide for the company and you will not find a better outfit than them. Greg Simons the owner of the company is now the president of the Texas Wildlife Association. Great people, beyond first class accommodations, and great hunt prices.

I will second Firecrotch's shout out for Wildlife Systems.  Hunted with them 2 years ago on a Nilgai hunt.  Great outfit, great people, and the best food a guy could ask for.

Quatro B out of Uvalde is also good. You can check out Double L Outfitters as well! Personal experiance with both and they are great!
What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

I was hunting the H-Yturria ranch.  The hunt was a blast and we saw a ton of animals.  Best eating wild game I have ever had.  Also, the camp cooks hand rolled fresh tortillas every day.  Damn that was good food down there!! Not to hijack the thread but here's a picture of my bluebull

If you are looking for a mature black buck it takes time for them to turn the black and white color.  I shot one in Texas years ago, but didn't have the black and white color.  If that's what you swing, be sure and specifically ask if there are any on their ranch.  Don't just go of prior photos.
