Washington cougar hunting
« on: December 06, 2013, 03:31:56 AM »
I've spent a lot of time up In the woods and mountains lately from Arlington to darrington trying to fill my cougar tag. It seems while I was out deer and bear hunting this year I had no problem finding fresh cat tracks and sign. Even got stalked this year (fifth time) but the cat disappeared into the woods only saw it for a split second. Now that deer seasons over every time I go up into the woods to hunt I can't find any fresh sign. I know they are here but I can't find them. Anybody have any tips or tricks regarding finding one of these cats? I usually go with another person but lately I've been going alone in hopes to make less noise and sneak along with more stealth.  Anyways hope y'all got something for me.
Thanks
