Another great day on the river. The rainbows are on fire. Had a half day trip and in 3 hours we caught 17 and lost a bunch more. If anyone is interested in a half day 3-4 hours $130 or full day 5-6 $150 let me know.

I'm going this year...already talked Craig at YJ and will be scheduling for a mid week trip when the burbot really get going.  My neighbor who also wanted to go backed out due to finances  .  I am still going so if anyone wants to fish for a day with a member let me know.  If not I will take my wife....   Thank goodness she is not on the forum.  LOL

We fish rainbows from November to feb, burbot from whenever they start in December to march usually. Fishing is open year round but the seasons for these two fish are best in the winter.

Fished Burbot today on Lake Roosevelt and caught over 30 in a couple hours, can only keep 5 per person so you weed out the smaller and look for the 5lb or bigger fish. Nope just a regular fishing license.. We did pretty well today on fish in the 6-7lb range.. They average 3-5 usually
