My oldest brother has that beat! He lives in western Oregon and wont put in for a 100 tag. Hadnt gotten a buck the last 3 years. So when this one came along... Shot him in the eye to save what little meat there was :)

Nice to know someone has beaten my record.  My first buck didn't have enough horn to tape a tag to  :chuckle:

Got this little guy yesterday afternoon. Had no idea it was a "buck" until looking at it for about 15 mins. He's a older buck with a pretty big body which doesn't make sense why his rack is so small. I wasn't sure if he was legal or not so i went back to camp to ask my grandpa and headed back up there and he was right where i left him. About a 20 yard shot with my brothers .243,thing didnt run 5 feet then fell to the ground. Might be small but it'll be good eatin for sure!

You werent sure if it was legal or not?????   So you shot it anyways?  LOL~!
