This thread is really hurting my opinion of the people on H-W,  when you should be high-fiving a youth hunter you kick him in the nads.

That is what is "discusting in my opinion!!!"   All you detractors should be ashamed of yourselves.

Good job kid!

I want to apologize for what I said. if I offended anyone I sincerely apologize. I just strongly believe that blacktails should be two pt or better state wide. ive seen my hunting area, white river, go from a really good unit too really poor. the amount of deer that we used to see in a day, now is how many a guy sees in a whole season. ill keep my opinions to myself. again I apologize to the young hunter. congrats on meat in the freezer

Your choice if you wanna keep em to yourself but everyone has the right to express theirs. Its the retaliation you might receive for doing so that you may wanna think about first :) No worries man. I love to say chit that I end up going back and reading and go "DOH!" :0

Good on you Whisky. I would vote for a two point minimum myself. However, I would vote for youths to be able to take "any legal buck". I hope it goes to two point before its too late.

:dunno:
I shot a really small buck,  :chuckle:

Siberian?

An acquaintance of mine shot a 4 pt mule deer that was hardly much bigger than that little thing.  It was crazy how small that buck was, not bigger than a whitetail fawn in September
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

What is funny about this is he got a deer and most come up empty handed. Yeah i cracked a joke earlier. But at least he has meat in the freezer. I will be chewing on my tag shortly

I wasn't sure if he was legal or not so i went back to camp to ask my grandpa...
Excellent idea to ask questions first before shooting if you're not sure.  nice job. :hello:
