Can you imagine that suckker in WA?  LOL, that's pretty amazing.  I'd like to get that in a DIY hunt.

Looks like a biggun, although tough to get perspective when they sit so far behind the rack in the pic.  That's the Roland Martin version of a moose pic.

Wow incredible Moose, that thing is truly amazing.

On a flip note, I can't believe all the whining a few people are doing about the picture taking.  The guy killed it, thats how he wanted the picture to look, so he took the flippin picture.  You wanna stand over it's neck and try and hold that head up for a photo go ahead, it's his animal, let him take pictures the way he wants to without slamming the guy.  Geez, I swear some of you people would bitch if you were hung with a new rope.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Maybe they need to get a pop can next to it to show it's size, or lay a tape measure in there.

Nice bull, I personally like pictures that make a critter look big.

Maybe you whiners should just post your own kill pics so the rest of us can pick them apart! After all we don't have anything better to do in our lives then be negative!

Or maybe you just don't have anything worth posting! :twocents:

Who are you calling a whiner?  All I said is it's tough to get perspective in a pic like that.  That's not whining, that's fact.  He can take any kind of pic he wants - it's his animal.  But if he wants to show the true size of the animal (and I don't know why you wouldn't with a pig like that), those pics don't do a good job.

I take pics from all angles when I notch my tag, you have to take a lot to get a couple real good ones and sometimes the best ones happen to be like his :twocents:

That is one hawg of a moose though, I wonder how old it was. I still have my moose tag, maybe I should ask for some picture advise before I upset someone with my hunt update :chuckle:

HOly holy CRAP!  You know, my brain simply is not able to wrap itself around how bloody damn huge Moose are.  It startles me every single time. Go to Cabelas or Sportsman's and same thing - I can remember "ok, remember now, Moose are HUGE" but still.... I come around a display and see those Moose and AGAIN am startled !  Every time.

Is it true that in Washington you can only take 1 Moose in your lifetime?  A good friend of mine who has been hunting since he was about 3 (I have seen the photos... a pronghorn with antlers that appeared to be bigger around than the little boy's arms) said that he isn't terribly comfortable hunting something that will regularly hold its ground verses a train.  Then again, he is almost exclusively a bow hunter nowadays.

Also, "NWT" = Northwest Territories in Canada??

And finally, we've decided that this year when we do our "hero photos" with Grouse or Pheas we are going to mimic that photostyle and see if we can make the birds look like pterodactyls.  The question will be... should we have the dogs back with us, or up and huge with the birds??  :IBCOOL:

Thanks!

Tracy, rookie 1st year deer hunter.  So far not a rookie deer spotter or shooter or gutter.  Got 4 days left to try though!
