Only a wake up away!

I've got a very generous offer from  kuduman to let me hunt along with him!

Hopefully were in the deer, he got me pretty excited on the phone tonight

if you have a multi tag can you hunt with a modern rifle during muzzy season?  I might have read a post wrong.  mike w

Well late muzzy on the east side didn't pan out. Saw lots of deer but not many legal bucks. Didn't get the weather and very little rut activity. Not near the animals this year. One again watched over and over people shooting from the road, truck, and on private ground. Just amazes me the lengths people go to for a doe and don't think twice about breaking the law. Well it's on to the blacktails next weekend.

I hear ya...ive hunted that unit for a long time (rifle and muzzy and bow) and since people can see deer from a mile away...thay get all amped up and make bad choices. We were hunting two days ago on some private land which we only had access to and someone was driving their rigs through crp up and down the draws. Its ridiculous.

Well I took it to the last minuite and ended up with a blacktail doe. My first doe. Not the biggest either. I had a great time in Raymond. Thanks Steve and Richard!

Way to get it done! First doe?? I think I have 12 under my belt.. They don't decorate the house nearly as well but look great in the freezer! :) Congrats sir.
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

First doe under my belt.  I have always shot bucks.  It's kinda ironic it cost me a 180 bucks too. :chuckle:

So do you think you will ever buy the deer mult-season tag again? I have been tossing it around for next season. Could use that money on a Idaho tag?
