well finally back to update this thread the hunt didn't quiet work out the way we had it planed we got over there set up camp hunted the next few days looking at a lot of area glassing hours on end seeing tons of deer with quiet a few bucks but nothing that met our standards, then I get the phone call grandma D from north Dakota my moms mom had passed at the young age of 91 she lived a good life and i can only hope to be as sharp as she was when i pass she could tell you every kids, grand kids, great grand kids and great great grand kids name birthdate with no hesitation and there's like 36 grand kids and and 13 great kids and 5 great great kids quiet a remarkable woman. so had to make a decision as my flight left in a day and a half. my buddy didn't want to hunt alone and didn't know the area as well as i so we hit the woods hard that evening and the next morning and i hate to use the word settle but we found a very nice buck that wasn't as wide as he was hoping for but had descent tine length and good mass so the hunt began trying to close the distance he was hot on a doe running none stop up and down the hills chasing her when we finally got a opportunity at him as the doe stopped for a minute got him on the shooting sticks and settled inn first shot looked good buck did the mule kick and looked to hunch hard as he walked of the little nob like he was hit hard took us a good 45min + to get up to where he was found good blood and huge chunks of bone laying all around , but not a lot after that we where just at the snow line where it was very patchy followed little blood but more tracks up hill which concerned me a lot he was heading up hill, finally got into a little cut full of snow which made tracking much easier to follow finally got a glimps of the buck walking on an old cut logging road and we where able to get up on and as we came around a little bend got him in the wide open and broad side and was able to finish the job , his first shot hit little low right below the shoulder breaking the leg and making it almost impossible for him to walk the second was a good clean double lung, then the fun began field dressing and starting the drag back to the jeep which was straight down hill but close to a mile away. all in all a great hunt and a dam good buck i have to load pics from phone cause computer is retarded and wont let me so ill post those in a min, along with a really nice buck standing on the side of the road as where headed out for home the next morning which i think was my grandma laughing at me for not staying and hunting
