Wenas Duck Hunting?

I just moved to the Yakima area from New York, trying to find an area to waterfowl hunt. I scouted Wenas yesterday mainly along Old Durr Rd didn't see any good spots. Does anyone know if I am wasting my time in Wenas or if I am looking in the wrong area? I'm not looking for specific spots just some help narrowing down my search or advice anything information is helpful thanks.

I thought that might be the case. I've read on here toppenish is really crowded. Is the reservation worth a look?

I grew up with the wenas creek running through our property, and all the neighbors gave me permission :tup: was a good hunt in the winter, I could almost always kill a limit jump shooting, not to mention the roosters and quail. Sadly that isnt the case anymore. You need to look into the lowervalley.

To bad it isn't that way anymore, it's really close to my house. Is it just the duck hunting is bad there or is it pretty much everything quail, pheasant, etc...?

Pretty much all of it. Land has been sold and not alot of the guys allow it anymore from what I hear.
