License’s going up 20%?
« on: November 18, 2013, 12:03:32 PM »
The radio this morning said fees are going up 20% next year. Anyone hear of this. I hope it was another State and not ours.

Not mine...the fees went down this year.  I didn't even get a Big Game license and deer tag this year!  I know of other guys that did the same.  For varying reasons.....

When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I've scaled back my tags just like the last 3 years. Archery deer small game waterfowl... thats it... May consider doing just waterfowl... OR may try and go the route of just predator hunting...  :dunno:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

They better not after the big increase we already had recently. I really doubt the WDFW would even consider it. I'm pretty sure they realize the prices are already at the upper limit of what people are willing and able to pay.

Actually the last increase is when I decided to bag WA, bought nothing last year and still have not got mine this year.  This from a guy that always bought everything.  I took up fishing only in WA for awhile, the price of the 2nd doe drag is what pushed me over the edge, will never apply for that again.  I thought the guy at the counter was smoking crack.

Really would like to go late muzzy, will have to decide soon I guess.

appears to be Idaho.
Thanks

Dang  :bash:  I was hoping that it was Washington raising their rate again. I do see it coming within the next few years.

With Jay Inslee as Governor now, I predict that they'll go up next year!  The libs already voted to have that Socialist on the Seattle City Council!  We are SKREWED!

This is the second year I've just said no to washington, I only bought a fishing lic. and did that grudgingly... I'm tired of paying more to get less
