I have a .243 that may need a new barrel, I can see pitting in the first 3/8" but not beyond that. I am thinking about getting 1/2" cut and recrowned but not sure if it is bad beyond what I can see. Does anyone have a bore scope they would lend so I can decide if it just needs a new barrel or if the cut and crown is the way to go?
