Your top rifle calibers
«

So I was talking with some guys at school toddy and thought I would get your opinions. I currently have a rem 700 .30-06 that I use for elk/deer. I have a little savage .22 for my kids and thinking about buying a ruger American compact .308 for my wife to start hunting with. My question is to you is.... If this was your gun cabinet, what 3 other rifles would you buy to complete your collection?....Fire away!!!

.17 7mm-08 375H&H, 17 for light varmint rimfire you don't need to reload and have good cheaper ammo, 7-08 for the wife lighter recoil good for deer or elk and a little flatter shooting than the .308, the 375 H&H for zombies, nah its just a fun gun to shoot for from a mouse to a moose(I've shot both with mine) and even an Elephant.

You have everything covered if you have a 30-06 and a .22 Long Rifle.
But, if you must have 3 more rifles besides the .308 for your wife..........I would get:
.338 Win mag (for a dedicated elk rifle)
.22-250 (for the long shots at coyotes)
30-30 (for hunting the brush for blacktails)

I agree with a speed demon .20 or .22,Perhaps a savage slug gun for wetside blackies and a .338 or bigger for just in case.

Can't go wrong with a .223 or .22-250. I'm running with .22LR, .22-250, .223, .280Rem and .300 Win Mag as my main go to's. I guess I'd like to have another .243 or .257 Weatherby one of these days.

So you have a .22, .308 and 30/06
I'd add .223 or 22-250, .300 ultra mag or .338 mag and one of the following, .450 bushmaster, .458 socom or a 12ga rifled slug gun
