I've been looking for an all black Jacobs for a lot of years.  Only found one in Texas and that little bugger made me look and feel like a novice hunter.  He was right up there with trying to stalk Coues deer.  Hunted him for four days and never let an arrow loose.  They are very cool animals.  I bet your son had a great time!  Let him know I said congratulations on a nice ram   Some day I hope to be as skilled and lucky as Nate ;)

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Thank you all. There is nothing better than sharing a hunt with your kids and seeing the smile on heir face when they harvest an animal.

Jacobs are cool looking rams. I've been searching for one to buy to raise on the farm. It'll be interesting to see how big I can get those horns to grow feeding one a bunch of horse supplements! :chuckle:

Nice, I would like info on where you went also..Took my 16 y/o to Cheney years back, but would like to find someplace closer to home for next one
Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me

Is it me, or are people getting dumber
