ko at kahlotus
« on: November 21, 2013, 07:41:15 AM »
if we had lots of days like yesterday there would be a lot more deer in this world.  it was 28 degrees and winds to 30 mph.  I lasted till 10 got in my truck and drove around and saw only one other hunter driving around.    saw no deer and no sign of deer.  maybe they went south for the winter.   where can I rent a space suit?    mike w

Yeah, it's damned cold over this side of the state. I'm in Pullman for the week. If it gets this cold on the wetside, they declare a state of emergency.

Not to poke at you...but we killed two bucks yesterday in 381. We saw 6 legal bucks. It was cold, but they were moving. I missed a nice whitetail before I shot my muley. Pictures are on the muzzleloader thread. The colder, the better.

It was 12 here this morning. I'm itching to get out with my archery tag but I've got the crud that's going around. So I'm laid up try to get better before the end of the season.
