Saying good bye to our lab.
« on: November 21, 2013, 02:20:36 PM »
We are saying good bye to our 10 year old lab today, we are taking her in to ease her pain and ours.  I trained KC from when we got her as a pup, she got her first grouse up in Wilkeson.  We had 3 beautiful, smart and very loving litters from her.  She was my first dog that was mine, she was taken from us far too soon. A car accident left her in pain the past week and she just isn't going to pull through.  This is really hard on my wife and daughter, probably one of my worst days as well.  She always loved beer, so this last photo is her last beer with me. Gonna miss you KC!  We love you for loving us.           Could someone turn my photos?  Thank you very much, I won't add anymore.

Rough Day.  Remember the good times.  This is the toughest part of being a pet owner, but you have to do what is best for your pet.

Sorry to hear, it is one of the hardest decisions to make.

I turned your picture for you so we can see her better.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I know how you feel, I was devastated when I lost my first lab Hemi. It took a toll on the whole family, not just me  :cryriver:

Sorry to hear.  Got me all choked up just thinking about.

Same here. I have such a soft spot for labs and dogs in general. I have two dogs at the moment and can't imagine how hard it is going to be. My parents have an older lab who is starting to decline and she was my hunting dog for years. Going to be a sad day when she goes.

Good luck with the process and I am sure the good memories will be with your family for the rest of your lives.

I'm sorry about this, Trophyhunt. It's terribly hard to do the right thing with your dog. :sry:
