Roger and I have moose tags in the selkirk unit. I'm going back sun. or mon. I'm really
getting pumped seeing all the great moose guys are taking. Looks like we might have
some snow over there next week. I like hunting in the snow.

Its not just me, there are a handful I think. I am heading out Friday with WF70 and M-Ray to Montana. We are prepared to hunt until the 16th but I seriously doubt it will take past the 12th. My plan was to maybe stop on the way back and see if we can scare one up, if not I have the last couple weeks of the month and will more than likely use the whole time to find that bull.

Thanks Machias, I still have your number. Are you heading back down south any time soon or are you going to be available later in the month?

He's got the moose for sure, don't know about the deer. Maybe he is keeping another secret from us. I know he was going to hit the moose hard before all you regular moose tag holders  :chuckle: entered the woods. Then his wife had a special bull elk permit and he had some out of state stuff to do too. If needed, he was going to hunt again in Dec for the moose. Damn, I wish my hunter dance card was that full.

My brother still has his tag. He is planning to go out starting Monday the 17th. I am not sure yet if I will be able to join him. I sure hope so. We will be looking for some input from locals on weather and road conditions as well as snow levels as it gets closer to the 17th. I know where the moose were in early October but am not sure if I could access those areas come the 17th due to snow or nasty roads. Checking in with you all probably next week, Brian.

Roger here and my tag is still not filled.

I've been in Wyoming and had to go back to work for a week. I'm leaving this Friday and have the rest of the season.

Sounds like it will be great with everybody getting their moose. Even looks like there has been some snow falling, but will it last with the pineapple express coming in. I'm doing this all solo and plan to remember every bit of it for the rest of my life, even all the hard work once he's down.

But if someone would like to come and help and enjoy this oil tag I wound say come on over and if I can be of help to anybody over there I would be happy to help when my tag is filled.

I will be here with the web until Thursday night.

I will not be doing any updating until I'm back as I am camping in the woods. Roughing it in my 30' trailer.
