I've been practicing at a local lake that has thousands of ducks on it every day (it isn't huntable) listening to the hens then trying to repeat. In my mind real ducks are better than any video, tape, teacher you could find. :twocents: Good luck, we all need it

Troy Taylor puts on a duck calling clinic once a year or so, he calls it Duck Calling University. Troy has been the WA
State duck calling champion a few years ago. He teams up with Robert Strong who also has been the WA State duck calling champion a few times. You can get information on their calling clinic on "ruckus outfitters" website or check out Troy Taylor on facebook.  Hope this helps.
Troy is a great instructor; look him up

 :yeah:
Nature is your best cure.
Also, feed back is crucial... you are right that having someone tell you what you did wrong will make you better.
But....  if you record yourself, and listen back to it, you can hear it better. Maybe something that simple will make you HEAR what you are doing wrong, or right.
Stan Marsh: "My Uncle Jimbo says we gotta get up there early. Right Uncle Jimbo?"

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."
