Well that sucks.  I have had my boat stuck out there more than once and it's not like over here where all you have to do is wait a few hours for the tide to come back in.  Hunting out of 20' boats has its perks, but not when you are trying to pull them off the rocks.

We have seen guys camped out for two weeks before there was enough water to float his boat out.

Slow today. Lots of coots and scaup but they mainly stay rafter up in the middle. Nothing flying either.

Since most everything was froze solid i decided to take my nephew to hunt Whiskey Dick cove on Wanapum reservoir (Sat. Dec. 14, 2013)   Worst action ever.  Hardly any birds moving.  The handfull of widgeon we saw were very decoy shy.  Only saw a handful of divers too. There were quite a few truck/trailers in the parking lot so we should of been able to keep the birds moving, but that never happened.  Anybody find success this weekend on the columbia?  Did we just pick the wrong spot to hunt?
